About the Course

Sports fans now have more ways than ever to connect with their favorite teams, which means that teams – and athletes – also have more channels than ever to operate and optimize. Sport publishers must harness data and be adaptive and strategic to attract new fans while maintaining avid ones. We explore social media best practices to provide insights into the numerous challenges marketing and content departments across teams, leagues, and media outlets must navigate to connect with target audiences, strengthen their brands, and meet organizational business objectives. Additionally, we will examine the key distinctions between editorial and industry content while offering real-world perspectives from social media professionals.
