About the Course

 

Audio Production (JMC: 3660) is designed to help you produce professional-quality audio stories. You will learn how to use high-end audio recorders and editing software as well as mobile apps to capture, trim, polish, and mix digital audio content. Throughout the semester, we will discuss current industry trends and preferred practices in audio storytelling, covering a broad landscape from news radio and podcasting to advertising and branded content. You will work individually and in groups to produce narratively compelling and technically sound audio stories.
